Jaki White-Marshall, 17, of Coatesville, has been arrested and will be charged as an adult for shooting at a bus full of high school students, the Chester County District Attorney announced the day after the shooting.
The shooting happened in the 300 block of Charles Street near Hope Avenue and Madison Street around 3 p.m., according to the Coatesville Area School District and the DA.
White-Marshall was one of four men wearing masks who approached the bus, the DA explained. One person fired six shots, and another fired two shots. Two different guns were fired, the DA noted.
Two shots fired struck the bus, including one bullet that went through the windshield and the other hit the front grill.
No one on the bus was hit and no injuries were reported, officials confirmed.
"Students on the bus are safe, as is the driver, and police are on the scene. We are extremely grateful for the calm reaction of our driver and the support of police," district officials.
A photo of the suspected shooters was released by the DA's office on Friday, Oct. 11. It can be viewed below:
The police "believe that someone was being targeted as part of a feud," as stated in the DA's release.
